Our Mission

Our Mission is to train multifaceted Geological Engineers, who are committed to engineering principles and have the ability to find solutions to engineering problems. In this direction, our students, throughout their education life, provide basic training on minerals and rocks, industrial raw materials, precious stones, energy resources such as petroleum, coal and geothermal, geological investigations of all engineering structures such as earthquakes, landslides, dams, bridges.

Closely related to disciplines such as medicine, agriculture, landscape architecture, biology, geography, civil engineering, materials engineering, and environmental engineering, the Department of Geological Engineering has undertaken to train engineers who are environmentally conscious, entrepreneurial, have ethical values and leadership qualities, can analyze and synthesize, and learn to live in harmony with nature.

Our Vision is to train engineers who know, understand and question the earth, can use their knowledge and experience in solving engineering problems, reveal subsurface and surface resources and contribute to the economic development process.
